I just tried the today\'s cvs snapshot. Now there\'s not OSD gradient anymore but transparency (which is IMO very iCandy!).
Although I miss the rounded borders around the OSD, but I am not sure if the new look is just cool without it.

Rounded corners will return, once I\'ve quizzed the libvisual guy about anti-aliasing without smoothscaling. Hopfully he\'ll know some tricks for me.
