Can audioscrobbler plugin work when user is behind a firewall, and only way he can connect to external world is via a http-proxy?

Yes. it works via http-proxy. Yesterday it was having some problems, but now its working. Actually, it was trying to submit all tracks that I had played and acudioscrobller was giving error that you cannot submit track that were played before you registered. I had to manually delete submit.xml and restart amarok.
