I was trying to make on my own with \"dcop amarok player nowPlaying\" command, but i\'m to 1337 in phyton. I will be thankful if you help me. |

If you are using Audio scrobble....
the are good php scripts to get that... |

There\'s uplisting, written in the superior language of ruby. It uploads the html page to a website with covers. There\'s a template that goes with it that would be easy to change around though.

I\'ve been learning Python (my first programming language, actually), and to help me learn, I\'ve been playing around with a script that does this. Eventually I\'ll package it for general use. I\'m just starting to dig into qt and config parser. You can take a look at what I\'ve got at the moment here:

If you add a PyKDE dep you could easily get it to upload the file for you. Then it would be just a stone throws from Uplisting, so I\'m sure thats not the point.
I found that using a scripting language was a good way to learn Qt/KDE since you don\'t have to deal with some of the rough parts of C++. Of course, in python its quite ugly .
