I have two sound cards in my comp - one for speakers and another one for skype with headphones. But sometimes I want to listen music on headphones without unplugging from soundcard. So I have to use ARTS KControl module to switch output device. I want to make amaroK script for easy selecting output device. The only way I found in ARTS KControl module is to terminate ARTS via artsshell and starting new artsd. But it needs to restart amaroK sound engine too. Is it possible to implement DCOP to do this? Or another solution to switch output device.
