1.4 beta vs SVN problems

Sun Mar 05, 2006 3:17 pm
I compiled and ran 1.4 beta no problem.. however, when i try to compile the svn version - it doesnt seem to pick up arts, or gstreamer

Heres the output from SVN compile:

= The following extra functionality will be included:
= + xine-engine
= + libvisual Support
= + XMMS Visualization Wrapper
= + MusicBrainz Support
= + MP4/AAC Tag Write Support
= + iPod Support (with Artwork)
=

I wouldnt care so much, if i could get xine to work properly (xine fails to initialize audio drivers) but i currently use arts as my sound engine.. Any ideas?

Im using kde 3.4 on mandriva 2006.

arts and gstreamer0.8 are no longer supported in the svn version (see ChangeLog file).
