  i'm trying to find out how the vertical tabs on the left are implemented. i have tried to find info on the web with no success. i've downloaded the source files and if somebody can just point me to the correct .h .cpp files i'll try to take it from there. i'm using qt 4.1 for development. i wouldn't ask except that having this gui item would really help simplify a touch screen app i'm building. thanks for your help

It's a customized KMultiTabBar. Check multitabbar.h/cpp.

Gabor made a Qt 4 implementation in our Amarok 2.0 branch already, apparently with much simplified code.
