Capitalize

Tue Nov 28, 2006 2:15 am
Hy! I started posting here because for the little time I use amarok, I'm already lovin'it! :)
So.. If this is a bad question please notify me :p and I apologise for this post..
The question is.. I have my music very deorganised and I need to organise it somehow.
Some tags are "sOmeTHinG LikeE - 01 - ThiS". Does amarok have some 'Capitalize' option?
This yould be easy to do.. It would be something like:

Code: Select all
void capitalize(char * str)
{
        for (*str=toupper(*str), str++; *str!='\0'; *str=tolower(*str), str++ );
}

The result would obviously something like this:
"Something Likee - 01 - This"
:)

Have you looked at the autotagging feature provided by musicbrainz in amarok?

You can recapitalize your entire collection wasting few efforts thanks to EasyTag.

I found MusicBrainz as well.. I love it.
I've received some mail about the code posted above. it capitalizes a word by time.
I need to explore amarok a bit more.
Thank you anyway. Good job! :)

You could make a script.  :smilie:
