Hi,
I'm trying to make a script that generates a database to be read by several Amarok Clients. These clients will not be able to alter any of the information. I don't have the possibility of using Amarok to update the DB, so I need to emulate some of the database manipulation that Amarok does by perl, python or some other scripting language. So my question is: What parts of the database do I need to create and update to enable Amarok to use it? The fewer tables, the better... Especially: Do I need to emulate the ATF unique IDs, and if so - how do I do that? If this can be done, I'll post the results so that others in the same situation can use it. |
