@cover problems: I think it also has problems with songs having "(" or ")" in the title.

Here's how to get the cover images in fullsize:
- use dcop to get the location of the small cover:
e.g.: dcop amarok player coverImage gives:
.kde/share/apps/amarok/albumcovers/cache/150@5e821c5ba0b85ff15e366b697c909eab
- The fullsize cover is:
.kde/share/apps/amarok/albumcovers/tagcover/5e821c5ba0b85ff15e366b697c909eab

unfortunately this doesn't work. Only few covers are stored in albumcovers/tagcover or albumcovers/large. The only way is to get the cover filename from the database.

some characters seem to be making problems, but I'm working on it.

i have all covers saved in the folder as folder.jpg ... so do i have to delete them and reload them from amazon? o.O

  /Artist - Album
    /01 - trackname.mp3
    /...
    /folder.jpg

BUT i also have:

/mp3
  /Artist - Album
    /CD1
      /01 - track01.mp3
      /...
    /CD2
  /folder.jpg

and for those 2 Disc albums i at last have the amarok-logo displayed!

are your cover images displayed normaly in the amarok sidebar?

so covers from amazon are not available? because when i have a new album without folder.jpg and geht the album from amazon it displays the amarok-logo...

when i load the cover from amazon and reload my music library (which takes some time ) it does display the cover!

sometimes it works, but then the next minute theyre gone... now i only have a amarok logo for ¨ 1/3 of my library and the other 2/3 are just black -_-

Well, what did you expect? That's your fault and not a problem of this script.

I don't add any albums to my library without covers. Not a single one.

So I end up with 100% (except the character problems) of my collection working...pretty simple.

Quality over quantity - instead of having a huge, incomplete library I prefer to have a smaller but complete one...

Fantastic idea, but unfortunately it's not quite working for me! The track name etc. and the progress bar are there, but the cover/logo and player buttons are not. The buttons do function, it's just you can't see them. Any ideas?

I don't know if it matters, but I had to manually set the kde include and libs after running qmake.

does it work, when you start konsole, dir to the directory and run the program from there?
