Hi. I want to get some data from Amarok from another application. I was looking into DCOP, but couldn't really get it to work with plain C. Now, that doesn't mean that it can't be done.
![]() Has anyone done this? Should/Can I use something else? Any tips? Best regards / Martin |

I am no expert on this, but my guess would be this:
- you can access the amarok database with SQL - you can use dcop by forking a process and reading in the output. - Look into the dcop library if it does the interfacing for you (not sure if it does, but give it a try)
