Hi.
I use KUbuntu 6.10 with Amarok 1.4.5. Everytime a USB-stick or Digicam is connected to the PC Amaroks asks me what to do with it. No matter what I say, Amarok crashes. Because I use the packages from kubuntu.org the binaries are stripped and so I can't provide a backtrace. Is there a way to tell Amarok to not listen for any USB devices? This crashes are really annoying because I loose my playlist(position) every crash. |

It'd be quite helpful if you could build from SVN with debugging on, because based on my experiences and those of many others (who've never reported a crash) I don't have much idea in terms of where to look. You can do this in your home directory so that you don't need to mess with packages on your system. There's a guide here:
http://amarok.kde.org/blog/archives/386 ... ctory.html to installing in your home directory, and it references a guide to building from SVN...if you could do that it'd be great. Thanks, Jeff |
