I plan to improve the last.fm support with such features like "Discoverymode", "Tagging Tracks" and so on... and also to add some more dcop functions for last.fm to amarok...
Looks good so far (discoverymode and some dcops are working for my lokal copy)

This brings me to 2 questions:
1) If I post my patches will they be included?
2) should I do this for amarok 1 or 2 ?

you should email the mailing list once you are done, and then we will decide. Depends on when it is ready, how intrusive it is, and how much we like your patch
