Ive started studying the amarok code to see how to reintegrate the hide menu bar feature which is sorely missed by many more than just myself.
If theres anyone wishing to help can they please post here, so far I think the file 'amarok/src/playlistwindow.cpp' has something to do with it. If you miss this feature and can code please take a look and help out! |

You probably will want to reverse this patch.

Success! Thanks to Dan for pointing me towards the svn revision where the feature was removed, didn't make it too hard to reverse!
I've rebuilt the feisty package with the feature back in, for those unfortunates who don't use Ubuntu Ive also included a patched source package. Enjoy! Patched Ubuntu Feisty Package: http://www.mediafire.com/?elyfme9ltcw Patched Source Package: http://www.mediafire.com/?5dt9cuftedx |

Thank you for making this patch. I really missed this feature but the update improved so many other things I couldn't go back. It has worked perfectly.
