hello,

what feature bring the rockbox-patch in Amarok 1.4.6?
if i set  Apple Ipod in amarok for the mediaplayer, amarok only find the  playlists from the original apple firmware.
amarok never shows the files and/or playlists from rockbox and/or the data stored in the folders for rockbox?
do i have to adjust in the settings?
or did i completely misunderstood what the patch is for?

greetings bdgraue

I'm in the same boat. The website advertises rockbox support, but I'm not seeing anything showing that.

Same here! I have rockbox installed on my Ipod Nano but it is still synced as if it were an ordinary ipod... Is it possible that a newer version of libgpod is needed? I've got 0.4.2 installed. Anyway what is this plugin for? does it sync with the rockbox database? That would be awesome! Especially it it would sync the Ratings as well.
Thanks in advance!

You need to set the player as a generic audio player instead of as an ipod if you use rockbox.
I don't think this is the correct thread for this kind of question though.

It'd be cool if there was an actual plugin for syncing with the rockbox ratings database, so you get the ratings as well.

How difficult is it to write plugins?
