Saving Metadata history for radio streams?

Quite simply, is there a good way to save the metadata history that displays on the context menu when playing a radio stream?

I know it's possible by using the ices-metadata script, but this script re-writes the file every time a new song plays.

Since I am a complete noob when it comes to scripting languages, I wouldn't know what would need to be added or taken out so that the metadata file, the ices-metadata script creates, is appended to instead of being re-written.
Or, is there possibly a better script for saving the metadata history from radio streams?

I might be wrong here, but I think the streams are part of your collection.
Anyway, backing-up (and afterwards re-installing) ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok
should give you what you want.
