I'm trying to learn javascript and qtscript in order to provide some benifit to Amarok here in the future. I'm still not entirely certain if I will be able to do what I want over all.

Right now I'm thinking dependency wise I'm going to need these things in play for the script I'm concidering.

• libgpod
• mp4box
• mencoder
• lame
• video tagging

Since I'm new to script writing if anyone has any suggestions as to how to achive the goals one has I'd appreciate it.

I'll post a script concept idea later.

LD, I already replied to your blog a few hours ago (assuming that this was the same LD). Did you read that?

Yea, I see it now. I just didn't see it during the day and I do most of my stuff at night.

Right now I'm looking it over. I'm mostly going to try to get certain things working like calling from other libs.
