I know that amarok 2 does not import ratings from amarok 1.4 database. I decided to look at the code and see if I was something I could figure out. After reading the code in databaseimporter/amarok14/FastForwardWorker.cpp, it looks like rating SHOULD be copied. I was expecting code for this step not to be written, but this line:

sql += "SELECT lastmountpoint, S.url, createdate, accessdate, percentage, rating, playcounter, lyrics ";

looks like it should get the ratings on the SELECT, and this line:

ec->setRating( rating );

should add it to the database.

So now I am confused. Shouldn't the database importer get the rating?

Any insight would be appreciated.
