I'm currently trying to develop an advanced scoring script. My first script can be found here:
http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=104465

My new idea for a scoring script is as follows: whenever you listen to a song, the score will never decrease. If you listen to the song long enough (ie 100%) the score will increase. Say n = newscore-prevscore, then 1 point should be substracted from n random songs in the database. This means that the average score over all songs is preserved and that if you don't listen to a song for a long time, it is likely to have a smaller score.

Now to my question: is it even possible to set scores that aren't in the playlist? Does anyone know how I could achieve this? Preverably with a python example since I'd like to write this script in python... Oh and I want to write this script for amarok 1.x...
