Missing Crossfading and praise

Sat Nov 07, 2009 12:45 pm
Attention bad english!

With 2.2 +1 the KDE4 Amarok has soon all this extremly important and missing features:

Media device support
CD Ripping (hardly used today ;-))
Equalizer (good I've you have bad speakers)
Visualisation (nice to see)

One of them is improving the sound, what I really miss to improve my acoustical experience is this wonderful crossfading like in 1.4. The 1.4 serie never inspired me until I've found this feature.

But I have to say Amarok 2.2 is the best music player out there. Design and functionality combined. Amaroks possibility to add scripts is great! Under WMP I was never aware why I should need someting as a playlist, Amaroks way of organizing music opened my mind.

Thanks

PS. I'd like to donate but I'dont like to make a paypal account so I will have to wait for the moment when I can see Mark Kretschmann again in Switzerland (Open Expo?).
