Hi everybody,
I've started writing a script that retrieves tags of the songs played on a radio and I'd like to set the tags of the stream but it's not editable. Is there another way to do it? The stream is a MP3 file and the tags are set to the radio name... Thanks. |

Are you using Amarok Script or D-Bus?

I'm using Amarok Script in Amarok 2.2.2 Beta but anyway since the file is a MP3 stored on a remote server I'm not able to set tags manually either. I'd just like to change the tags "virtually" so that I would know what I'm listening to... For now I display an OSD with the proper info each time it changes but it's not a good solution since it shows up only few seconds at the beginning of the track. If you have a better idea I'd be glad to know it. Thank you for your help.

I'm afraid that might not be supported (yet). But if you make a "wish" report, we could consider adding it. Please see here: https://bugs.kde.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=amarok

Thank you, I have voted to this feature. Have you found any temporary workaroud ? I was trying with loading playlist from m3u and xspf files, but it work very very slowly. I think there is some bug with loading playlist from file.
