I have a large amount of lossless files, mostly alac from my itunes days, and I am trying to write a script that automatically transcodes alac -> mp3 when I copy music to my ipod collection. I have written scripts to do this conversion from the shell, so I know the commands to run on the program. My question is: what are the script methods used to access the ipod collection? I'm new to amarok scripting, and would love to contribute in any way possible.
