Getting mute status

Sun Jun 06, 2010 4:28 am
Is there a way to determine if Amarok is muted or not from within a script? All I can see related to mute is a function that toggles mute. Alternatively I would be happy with a way to definitively set mute and unmute instead of a toggle.

I don't think that this is a good solution, but it should work:
Code: Select all
qdbus org.kde.amarok /AudioOutputs/0 Get org.kde.Phonon.AudioOutput muted

With this command you test if the AudioOuput 0 is muted. It worked for me.

Hey, thanks. It would be nice if this was accessible from the scripting API, but it should do the trick.
