As far as I know we are under version 2.3.1 and I'm desperately trying to find some information on what new is about to come in next releases of Amarok and ... nothing.
Apart from a 2.3.2 beta announcement on August 17, nothing. Last post on Amarok blog was on August 1st. Tried to find the roadmap (http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/RoadMap). No chance for me. I'm sure some developers are around here and will be able to tell what is up and exiting for 2.4 (or not). PS + off topic: Please give this version a focus on usability. After reading some posts related to usability problems, I understand that the redundant comparisons between versions 1.4 and 2 is annoying, given what has been done in terms of GUI. But I know many people lost on very basic actions : load a play-list is not that obvious because browsing in media sources is not intuitive at all ... tabs were nice before. |

August 17 was only 3 weeks ago. That isn't very long.

FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
