(been looking through google and didn't find anything about this..so:)

I'm a former ubuntu-gnome user.
so I was used to Rhythmbox.


I pretty mus like amarok, but I miss one feature:
I could turn my player into some kind of a screen saver
(which indeed it was not..)
meaning it's possible just to get a black screen, with the album cover,
minimal information about current song and play list,
and just the ability to move along the play list

I'm not a gret developper, but I make my ways through Python.
so if this is not planned as a future developpement for amarok,
I'll be glad to help adding it, as long as someone may help me
getting my hands in the basics of Amarok
