sh ./configure --prefix=/usr puis make et make install

$ ./configure --prefix=/usr
$ make
# make install <- il faut etre root pour cette commande

$ ./configure --prefix=/usr
$ make
# make install <- il faut etre root pour cette commande

A+

updatedb puis locate amarok

Paix!

[code:1]# whereis amarok
amarok: /opt/kde3/bin/amarok[/code:1]

Is that what you're looking for?

That directory is in the PATH:
[code:1]# echo $PATH[/code:1]
so just typing "amarok" will start it.

Did you "make install", or copy the necessary files yourself, after compiling, etc?
(I'm using a binary RPM, Amarok 0.9, on KDE 3.2.1, SuSE 9.1.)

:o)
