Abstürze bei großer Sammlung

Hallo,
ich nutze AmaroK schon etwas länger unter Debian Etch (aktuelles System) und hatte nie so massive Probleme. Seitdem ich meine Sammlung in den letzten Tagen massiv auf ca. 15000 Titel vergrößert habe, stürzt AmaroK andauernd ab. Natürlich habe ich die Sammlung schon mehrfach neu eingelesen und es läuft ja auch teilweise mehrere Stunden. Aber insbesondere wenn man gleichzeitig mit der Sammlung arbeitet und nebenbei Tracks abspielt oder nur zur Playlist hinzufügt, stürzt das Programm andauernd ab.
Würde es etwas bringen, von SQLite auf MySQL umzusteigen?
