Is there a way to play tracks in random order where there is not history of forward tracks?

e.g. I recently played tracks C > A > B
If i press back button, i should have A playing. When i finishes, i don't want B to play instead i want another random track to come up. Is there a way to do this?

Dynamic playlist doesn't seem to provide for this.

Examples of players which implements random play like i want is Juk and Android player

How about selecting the play mode random, using the button at the bottom? See also http://userbase.kde.org/Amarok/QuickSta ... the_bottom

Other possibility: shuffle the playlist: http://userbase.kde.org/Amarok/Manual/A ... ookmarking

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

I had selected Random mode. Pressing Back then Forward brings me to the same song. Shuffled playlist does the exact same thing except you get to to know the totality of the order in which the songs would play
