I'm happy to see you added progress and a play icon to the tray icon, but having the play icon flash is really distracting. I catch a little flash out of the corner of my eye and I figure incoming mail or message. Maybe I'm alone, or maybe others agree with me, but I think a nonflashing icon would be sufficient.

Systray animation is now optional.
