Hello, thank you for this AMAZING app !
I have juste a little usability suggestion. In fact it is a problem common to almost every KDE app: Why put every button in the toolbar ? for example in amarok Play, Stop buttons play a completly different role than the Clear button which concern only the playlist, and the Menu button which concerns the whole app ? Buttons should carry their role both by their icon and their placement in the general layout. Henri |

Hi, I'm not sure how you didn't notice but if you use xmms mode, the play, stop, pause etc buttons are not in the toolbar. But in compact mode (with only one window), they have to be in the playlist or you wouldn't be able to control amaroK playback at all.
WRT the menu button. It is likely to stay unless some usability expert can suggest something better. I spend a lot of time contemplating usability issues, not least because some users are extremely critical on these matters. |

hi,
I think I didn't explain my idea very well. It is a more general issue than just amarok, almost every KDE app use the same look and feel pattern: -------------------------------- menu -------------------------------- toolbar -------------------------------- main frame -------------------------------- This is very rigid, Mac apps are often visually nicer because they put buttons were they need to be, not in a toolbar that aggregate heterogeneous buttons.
