It would be nice to do some kind of \"symbolic linking\" between the artist names so they can apear as one name (of course i am talking about data in ID tags). For example:
The Future Sound Of London is the same artist as Future Sound Of London and future sound of london. Some kind of interface to setup \"links\" manually would be cool.

BTW, Amarok is Great!!!

In such cases the easiest thing to do is to add them all to your playlist, select them all, right click on the artist field and select Write \'Future Sound Of London\' For Selected Tracks (or whatever).

It would be nice if amaroK was able to connect artists from different tracks, even when the tracks are multiple artists and working with different artists.
Like I have:
an artist \"Yoko Kanno, Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus\"
as well as \"Yoko Kanno, Gabriela Robin\"

Well we can\'t make it automaticaly group The Artist and Artist together because for example Prodigy (Hip-Hop) and The Prodigy (Techno) are quite different artists.

I have a large collection of albums and I need to group them together so they are easy to find so that wouldn\'t work. I really dont care about the lyric tab I just though I would point what the downside is. I suppose you could always hack the lyric plugin to get the desired results.

I have done this a while ago and it works fine but it then throws out the lyrics tab; so it cant find the lyrics straight off as the \"The\" at the beginning of the artist is missing so it gives you a list of options instead.

Well, just change the artist name to one the lyrics tab likes.
