scores, and skipping a track improvement

well doodes, i agree that the track should be rated down if skipped, but perhaps not in <=10 seconds? would this be possible?

what i am going to get at is the following scenario:

you have an album and actually like the track. cool. however, you accidently click it, realize it, ans skip. OOMPH - rated down.

IMHO the first 10 seconds shouldnt be counted at all.

I second that. I have more than 2000 songs here and a rapid shortcut for \"next song\". So, it happen frequently that I skip a song in the beginning.

OTOH I skip songs I don\'t like as soon as I recognize them...

How about separate \"skip\" and \"skip and derate\" buttons? That way you could put the one you prefer on your interface.

look at bugs.kde.org, there already is a bug report for that and the explanation why we\'re not going to change this behaviour.
