Cant beleive I didnt think of this before..
Why not just one click activates a song from the playlist rather than double-clicking it? Seems a bit over kill. Would be nice if when you hover over a song the little hand just comes up straight away and one click changes it. What do you think? |

What if you want to delete a song from the playlist? You click it and hit Delete. You can hold Ctrl, click several songs and delete them. If amaroK played the clicked items, deleting would be not so easy (when I delete a song from the list it means that I don\'t want to listen to it )

No, you right click it and click delete! And why not just have it so if your holding control it still just selects rather than playing.
Why not just implement this an option? |

As an option I could live with this. If it is forced on me, I\'d move to another player. I don\'t like a default action for a single click other than selecting the file to do with whatever you want to do. This is similar to \"preview\" option in filebrowsers, it is simply an annoyance, not a feature. imho.

I dont think it would hurt to have this as an option at all. I can see how some people mightnt like it but.. I think it would be handy. My finger gets tired double clicking everything inch:

I recently created a separate thread on this topic, because I didn\'t find this one until now.
I really don\'t think this should be an amarok option. This is a desktop environment specific issue. If the user has chosen to use single-click mode in KDE, amarok should respect that. Otherwise it should require doubleclicks. amarok is currently the only program on my system that makes me doubleclick things. It\'s just kind of awkward. Thanks. |
