Well, basically, tabbed mode ain\'t too bad.
Yes, it\'s somewhat standard approach, but it\'s reliable and convenient from the point of view of an ordinary user. We\'ve got a dozen of applications using tabs for similar purposes - web-browsers, rss-aggregators, irc-clients, some of KDE\'s native applications such as KAudioCreator, or BasKet. With the great desire anyone can examine K-apps and find out that A LOT of them do use \"tabbed\" interface. Why not amaroK now? A user has got used to such interface and may find it convenient, robust and closely friendly feature. Shortcomings and drawbacks of using tabs can be divided into several groups: 1. Interoperability and general || special applicability along with the usefulness of the code within the application\'s \"code-frame\". 2. Usability issues, concerning merely (in)convenience for a given user to perform the task. Well, like that. I\'m not a specialist concerning such issues, I emphasize the fact.
