Is there any chance...

Thu May 26, 2005 9:46 pm
that Amarok can read greek ID3 tags? I am Greek and hava several mp3s with greek ID tags. Amarok does not recognise them and I am wondering if is possible to do something with it. I am using 1.1 under the Mandrake 10.1 Linux Distribution. I could use any help.

Thank you in advance,

You should be able to read any tags that your machine is capable of reading.

Make sure you are using UTF-8.

Also, look in amaroK options for the decoding preferences

I have downloaded and installed the latest version of amaroK. Things are much better now. AmaroK reads every single greek ID3 tag (except for two or three) with the use of ISO 8859-7. However I have a couple of stability problem with amaroK in general. Keep up the good work to have them fixed.

We can\'t fix problems if we don\'t know about them - why don\'t you let us know.
