1) What about preamp support in equalizer?
2) What about \"import present\"? Just like in xmms?

Without this two things (at least first one) i can not use amarok which is great app...

The preamp works with Gstreamer, and is fixed for xine in current development versions.

Preset support could be done seperately in a script.

I really don\'t get the point of presets though... I mean, if a whole genre of music would sound better with a certain eq setting, why isn\'t it done on the CD already? Isn\'t that the job of people producing CDs? I understand equalizers are more for making it sound good on the speakers and system that you own and for the use that you want.

1) Heh, believe me, difference is very notable. I can\'t listen to music without equalizer from xmms. I\'ve tried preamp on gstreamer but when using it, there\'s far worse sound than when using eq form xmms. I do not know why... Eq in amarok (on gstreamer/xine, I don\'t care) should be on the model of eq from xmms.

2) Script... Is there any already written?
