Why doesnt amarok remember where it left off the last time I shut it down?
I want to listen to all the songs in my playlist equally. If it always starts in the beginning I will keep hearing the same songs all the time (specialy if I have a huge playlist). Another thing is the naming of playlist categories. I think the category \"playlists\" should be named saved playlists, or physical playlists or something. Because most people when they want to create a playlist they have a dynamic playlist in mind, but when they try amarok for the first time they have no idea what a dynamic playlist is, they just want a playlist. So they go for the simpler \"playlists\" category, when they should be going to dynamic playlists. Or maybe im just stupid, cause thats what I did. A few times. And then getting frustrated why is this dumb program making me save my playlist. I dont realy understand why its necessary to split up these 2 categories anyway. |

Settings - configure amarok. In "General", mark the "Remember current playlist on exit" In "Playback", mark the "Resume playback on start" Now it should work. |

Oh great thanks.
Though after playing around with the program I decided to go back to juk. The amarok way of handling playlists is just completely alien and uncomfortable to me. |

Even though Amarok has these two settings (\"Remember current playlist on exit\" and \"Resume playback on start\"), the only thing it does at startup is placing the playlist at last track i heard. Well, I don\'t understand why when I click play it keeps playing the first song of the playlist....
It looks like a \'fake\' remembering of last song feature. As Amarok starts minimized most of the time, it is quite annoying to open each time the playlist window and click on the right track. |
