Mood Browsing - Comments search

Sat Sep 17, 2005 5:48 am
A feature that i love in Amarok is the dynamic playlist, in the sense that it works kind of like the Last.fm radio player.

Something I enjoy doing with the \"comments\" field in tags is pastings allmusic\'s \"Moods\" in them (eg: The Beatles : \"
* Exciting
* Fun
* Bright
* Lively
* Happy
* Sentimental
* Wistful
etc... )

But the comments field in tags does not seem to be filterable in the collection browser. Since many artists share moods, it would be nice to throw five or six moods at the player and build a playlist based around this.

Note that the main question here is:

Why aren\'t the tag comments taken in account by the filter?

thank you

You could make a smart playlist that pulls all songs with a particular string in their comment.

Thanks eean! This works pretty fine.

Now i see why comments aren\'t taken in account by the filter. Not really needed!

Ok, now I\'ve got to get smart-playlisting!

Au Revoir
