OT: Survey of usability in OSS

Tue Sep 27, 2005 5:32 pm
Hi everyone

This e-mail is primarily targeted at developers of open source software (especially developers of amaroK)

We are working on a university project about usability development in open source software. You can read more about our project here http://www.cs.aau.dk/~sieker

The goal of the project is to test and produce new ways for people to test software usability - even if the developers and users are not in the same physical location and do not have access to traditional testing facilities.

The results will be made available to the open source community.

Right now we are conducting an electronic survey to get an overview of current usability practices in various projects. We encourage all OSS developers to participate at ttp://www.sieker.dk/survey/survey.php?sid=28

We appreciate your input and apologize in advance for using your messageboard for this purpose :)
