I have a 1 GHz PIII with 512 MB RAM, not a great machine, but I use it as a server to my laptop for media, mostly mp3 format music. This is, hands down, the BEST music manager I\'ve seen. It\'s the only one I\'ve found that doesn\'t kill my machine when I import the entire collection. However, it works very slowly for large databases 50,000+ tracks. Are the most efficient algorithms in use for collection management? Still beats everyone else.

Are you using MySql, if not try it for larger collections.
