What I missed recently, was treating streaming media (a radio for example), like a series of songs rather than one long piece. In this mode, I could switch to radio for one or for specified number of songs, and then automagically switch to a following piece in the playlist.

Currently, I cannot add a radio to a playlist. Well... technically speaking, I can, but as soon, as it starts playing, amarok never returns to the playlist. If it used a kind of silence recognition (or some other heuristics to discover end of songs), it could eventually return to the playlist.
