Tag Lookup/Organize/rename/rip

kind of like what windows media player does, except do it better. if you have partial track info. like the track title. use amazon or wikipedia to look up the rest of the info. then have an option to auto rename and organize your file. (the rename would need naming scheme options) look at windows media player 10 and what it can do in these respects for a good example. I think most people would like having these options available. I\'m not asking for it just because windows media player has it. that\'s just what gave me the idea. oh and mp3 ripping support added would be a good Idea... at some future time.

a) musicbrainz

All amarok can do is fetch info from musicbrainz. (*)
You can't rename file according to the tags.
You can't choose which fields you want from musicbrainz. It's all or nothing. Most of the time I only want trackname because I already fille somme infos and I disagree with those on musicbrainz ('Cure', 'Cure, the', 'the Cure'...)

Easytag do this better (but it can't fetch cover...)

(*) or did I missed something ?

(*) Check out the "Organize Files..." dialogue off the context menu. Or if you're working in the Files browser, use "Move to Collection..." or "Copy to Collection..." - this dialogue will rename the files using your tags.

which version are you talking about ?
I'm running 1.3.9 ubuntu and I don't understand what you're talking about.

I got a "context panel" and when I click on file all I got is
Load
Append to PL
Q track
Edit Track info

In the "files panel", when I click on file all I got is
Load
Append to PL
Burn to cd
Select all files
delete
properties

If I click a title in the playlist I got a "context menu"
Play
DeQ
Stop after...
edit tag
copy tag to clipboard
Burn to cd
remove from PL
delete
edit track

I can't see any Organize Files entry anywhere

thanks
