I mount my music read-only. Sometimes I accidently click the song that is currently marked. This starts the tag editor for that field that I just clicked. Then when I abort and click outside that song it tries to write the new tag. As it fails it instead clears all tags.

What I want is some way to completely disable editing of these tags. I prefer some other program when I want to edit my tags and do not want to do it in amaroK.

How does it clear the tag if its read-only?
