Hi,

I guess this feature has already been requested. It would be great if I could have an option to prevent certain bands from being submitted to last.fm. The reason for this is quite simple: I'm from Germany and I have one German band that I listen to a lot ("Wir sind Helden"). However, normally I don't like much German music and it seems that I now always get suggestions for a lot of other German bands that have nothing in common with "Wir sind Helden" - except for being German, too. So it would be great if I could just not submit them...

Also it would be nice to have a button to toggle submission on/off easily so I can switch if off if I'm just listening to some new music I don't want to be submitted.

Other than this: Great program! Keep up the good work!

Yeah I know what you mean. Like I listen to electronic music mostly, but then I liked the new Chili Peppers album a lot, so I played it plenty. Now I'm getting all sorts of rock music recommended, and also my neighbors seem to be mostly guitar music fans.

In the long run though things tend to get balanced again, automatically.

thanks for replying! Actually I'm not sure it will balance out in this case cause I will always listen to them quite a lot since they are one of my favourite bands.
I don't know... I guess I'll have to see. I guess it would be a feature that last.fm should provid (to ban a band) but since they don't...

Well you can ban all their songs.

I'm pretty sure you can ban tracks/artists from being accepted by lastfm at the lastfm site.

Perhaps you'll like some of the bands they are suggesting to you then!
