Last.fm enqueue

Wed Jul 26, 2006 1:47 pm
Hi,

I use amarok as an Last.fm player (just configured firefox to open the lastfm protocol with amarok) but i would like that instead of loading the song immediately it just put enqueue it so that i can continue listening to what i am listening and after that listen to the song i choose on Last.fm.

I tried changing the value on the firefox configuration from "amarok" to "amarok -e" but then it just won't load amarok.

I hope I've explained right and someone know the answer.

thanks!

Hi!

My simple solution is to create a script ~/bin/amarok-append (appended, please remove the stupid ".txt" extension required by the forum software), set it executable

Code: Select all
chmod a+x ~/bin/amarok-append

and use that as the firefox-handler.

Cheers,

Use
Code: Select all
dcop  amarok playlist addMedia

as handler and the streams will only be enqueued (but you need to have amarok running)
