As to me, Amarok currently lacks a convenient tagging solution. I have a proposal of another solution, arguably a better one. It's at http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Mass_Tagging. It's not that I'm going to program it sometime, still it would be interesting to figure out how to implement mass tagging for it to be powerfull and convenient.

In my opinion that's the job of real tagging programs (easytag & co), not Amarok. Amarok's job is to stay being the best music player out there

So, it wouldn't hurt to have it in the program, but I don't think it's worth the effort.
