Everything is working fine with my Creative Zen Microphoto. :) With transKode it does everything needed. Nice feature.

My Zen Touch doesn't work very well... Only as root I can use it, and when I try to transfer tracks, some cant be transferred :-(

Sounds like a rights problem in the first problem, that should be fixable.
And the second thing sounds like you have not set up transcode...

Okay... so how do I set the rights for libmtp ??? My User is in most available groups (audio, hdd, floppy, cdrom, ...) natively there was no USB-Group, if I create one, nothing happens...

What is transcode anyway?

I cannot help here. Probably you can google for that or find it in the documentation of libmtp. Maybe you need to change the rights on a device file...

A script that will transcode the music files not supported by your mp3 player to a supported format.

OKay... I'll search for the rights-stuff... For transkode... All my Music is MP3 and supported by my Zen... I know that, because all of this music was already on that player... I use the Player as Back-Up-Device for my music... So the Music-Files on my PC originally came from the Player (well about 90% of them)... But I'll try that out... Maybe it will work after all...

Thanks
