If iTunes has a firmware updater/repairer, why doesn't Amarok hyave the same for rockbox? You should be able to click a button to install, upgrade or repair rockbox from Amarok. The method is the same for all iPods except a different file needs to be used, but i don't know about other players.

I'm currently finding it hell installing trying to install rockbox on my iPod.
