Hello,
I'm using to screen. I always sized amarok in the way, that the context browser is on the whole left screen and the playlist on the whole right screen. But scince I updated to 1.4.3 (don't know which version I used before) amarok don't remember it's width. When restarting or double-clicking on the amarok-symbol in the panel it alway resizes that the totaly width fits the width of only one screen. |

Yeah we have also noticed similar problems. Like my Amarok is not restored on the right virtual desktop across sessions. Not sure what the reason is.

maybe it's related to various kde updates as well... perhaps try resetting the remembered window settings?

Metacity the gnome Window manager cannot do that. There is an application called devilspie (http://www.burtonini.com/blog/computers/devilspie, documentation wiki: http://wiki.foosel.net/linux/devilspie) that would allow you to specify that kind of behavior. You could of course also use kwin the KDE Window manager with gnome (start kwin --replace in a terminal while running gnome), but that's just plain wrong ![]()
