Please add a way for exporting cover images from the database to the file system.
The best would be a [save image as..] line in the context menu of the cover image in the context browser with the directory where the music files are as the default location. The cover manager becomes unusable when there are very many images in the database because it preloads all existing images which takes a long time and sometimes crashes the program. My music files live on a NAS disk. I keep cover images there because I also listen to the files with hardware music players that can display cover images. The CopyCover script gives me an error message: PyQt (Qt bindings for Python) is required for this script. even though I've installed all the python packets on my Debian system. Is there a way of extracting the cover images from the SQLite DB ? George |

You installed this debian packet? python-qt3
Aren't the cover images stored in a subdirectory in ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok? (I might be wrong here). |

I don't think it's legal to save the cover images.

Are there any plans to implement any type of Rockbox support, like handling the cover images correctly? I know there are a couple of scripts already, but it looks like they also save the covers in your music folder, which I don't really want.

You might find those scripts to be of some help in your situation though...
