If this already exists, please let me know (be gentle, still new)
Is there a way to view the music files in a playlist type window, without them being in the playlist? I'd like to be able to listen to an album or playlist while editing and organizing other files. There's some files that need to be deleted, some that need tags edited, some need ratings assigned, ect. I've been doing this with the playlist which works great except that what I'm working on isn't what I want to listen to often. Any help appreciated. |

collection browser = sidebar ? If I understand, that's where all the artists are listed on the side in tree view, right?
I'm looking for a playlist type view where I can select the columns for the tags I care about and quickly scan through for errors. I can also rate songs quickly in that view. I've been doing this with the playlist, but it's less than ideal for what I'm trying to do. Just a little backstory... I've been slowly transitioning to Kubuntu. A recent Windows crash on a diff box expedited the move of my music, but I didn't get to export the ratings and some of the files got disorganized. Long story, but that's the jist. thanks |
